Revest Finance Announces Partnership with Pegasys and Launch on Syscoin

Revest Finance is thrilled to announce the first of many partnerships on Syscoin NEVM with Pegasys Finance, the leading decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Syscoin chain — simultaneously, Revest is excited to announce our launch on Syscoin!

What are Revest and Pegasys doing together?

Revest Finance is delighted to announce the-first-of-its-kind partnership on Syscoin NEVM with Pegasys Finance. Pegasys will be requiring projects to lock a portion of their LPs into Revest FNFTs in order be granted a listing on Pegasys’s verified projects list. This will help prevent rug-pulls on Syscoin while enabling these LPs to be traded and acquired on secondary markets. In return, Revest will charge a small percentage fee on the LPs locked, 100% of which will be redistributed to Revest stakers. Pegasys will also be creating a launchpad in the future, integrating our FNFT technology. Revest is thoroughly excited to be working with Pegasys, and looks forward to what additional innovation future collaboration may produce.

What are Revest and Syscoin doing together?

Syscoin will be utilizing Revest FNFTs for the disbursal of vested funds for its TVL-incentives program — through this, Syscoin will be able to offer developers vested tokens to incentivize and reward their building within the Syscoin Ecosystem.

What can I do on Syscoin?

You are now able to mint FNFTs on the Syscoin network. To use Syscoin, you will first need some SYS tokens, which may only be acquired from marketplaces listed on CoinGecko. Once purchased on any of these exchanges, tokens may be sent to your MetaMask address as normal. Once you have completed this step, you will need to configure your wallet. Suggested resources are available here.

Once your tokens are on Syscoin, you will be ready to use the Revest Protocol to mint FNFTs on this network. Simply change the active network in your web wallet, reload your browser (if necessary), and an icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Revest Web-App will indicate that you are now connected to Syscoin. Happy minting!

Fees, Staking, and the RVST Token

As with previous launches of the Revest Protocol on other EVM-compatible networks, the Revest token ($RVST) and the Revest Staking System remain solely on the Ethereum blockchain for now. Revest will typically charge a percentage fee off the top of ERC-20s locked in our FNFTs on the Syscoin network.

All fees generated in this manner will be bridged back to the Ethereum blockchain on a regular basis, converted to ETH, and distributed to Revest stakers. We’re excited to see how our offerings develop further into the future and look forward to announcing partnerships with leading projects on Syscoin.

About Revest Finance

The Revest Protocol offers a revolutionary new use of NFTs as financial tools through the Financial Non-Fungible Token (FNFT). Individual and enterprise-level users can deposit any ERC-20 or ERC-721 into Revest’s interactive FNFTs and set custom unlocking conditions (time, value, or contract-based). Revest allows the tokenization of all non-fungible financial positions with non-fungible tokens. This simple turn-key solution offers elegant applications ranging from token vesting to cutting-edge implications for derivative and borrowing/lending platforms.
